Turkish anti-terror police arrested nine people for their alleged ties to the YPG/PKK terror group, according to security sources on Wednesday.
Suspects, arrested as part of an investigation launched by Ankara prosecutors, were allegedly operating for the women branch of the YPG/PKK.
In its more than 30-year terror campaign against Turkey, the PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the European Union -- has been responsible for the deaths of 40,000 people, including women, children, and infants. The YPG is the Syrian offshoot of PKK.
