A total of 391 suspects were arrested in Turkey over the last three days due to alleged terror links, the country’s Interior Ministry said Tuesday.
Turkish security forces carried out operations against the Daesh terrorist organization in 25 provinces across Turkey, arresting 146 suspects.
Meanwhile, 245 suspects were arrested due to links to the PKK/KCK terror group amid operations carried out in 36 provinces.
More than 300 people have been killed in attacks claimed by Daesh in Turkey, in which the terrorist organization targeted civilians in suicide bombings and armed attacks in recent years.
Turkish security forces have been involved in a long-running campaign to thwart Daesh attacks.
In its more than 30-year terror campaign against Turkey, the PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S., and the European Union -- has been responsible for the deaths of 40,000 people, including women, children, and infants.
