Prime Minister Dorin Recean says he will submit new candidates for these positions to president for approval on Saturday
Moldovan Prime Minister Dorin Recean announced the resignation of three cabinet ministers on Friday, including Interior Minister Anna Revenko.
Ministers of Interior Anna Revenko, Education and Science Anatolie Topala, and Infrastructure and Regional Lilia Dabija submitted their resignations, Recean said at a press briefing in the capital Chisinau.
"Tomorrow, I will submit new candidates for these positions to the president of the country for approval," he said.
On June 30, two people were killed at Chisinau International Airport when a 43-year-old Tajik citizen pulled a gun from a guard holster and opened fire in response to the authorities refusal to let him enter the country.
Following the incident, people demanded the resignation of the interior minister and other heads of Moldovan law enforcement.
