Israeli army orders residents of 4 areas in Bureij refugee camp to immediately evacuate
The Israeli army on Wednesday ordered Palestinian residents in the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip to immediately evacuate ahead of attacks in the area.
Military spokesman Avichay Adraee said residents in four areas in the camp must head to what he called a “humanitarian zone,” alleging that rockets were fired from the area.
Adraee attached a map of zones to be evacuated to his warning message.
The Israeli army has repeatedly issued evacuation orders for Palestinian civilians in several areas across Gaza in the course of its war on the enclave.
Israel has launched a genocidal war on the Gaza Strip that has killed nearly 45,100 people, mostly women and children, since a Hamas attack on Oct. 7 last year.
Last month, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on Gaza.
