Suspects are accused of being members and spreading propaganda for the terrorist group
Forty Daesh suspects were taken into custody early Friday in Turkey's southern Adana province, a security source said.
According to the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on talking to the media, Adana police conducted an operation backed with helicopters on predetermined addresses in the province.
The source said that a total of 40 Daesh suspects were taken into custody following the operation.
The source added that the suspects were accused of being members and spreading propaganda for the terrorist organization.
Separately, three people who make hand-made explosives were also captured by the Adana police, the same source said.
According to the source, the operation found six hand-made explosives in the suspects' house.
