Turkey's benchmark stock index rose by 0.03%, or 27.35 points, to start the week at 109,896.49 points on Monday.
On Friday's close, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index went up 0.19% to 108,869.14 points with a daily trading volume of 9.8 billion Turkish liras ($1.74 billion).
The U.S. dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate stood at 5.7790 as of 9.30 a.m. local time (0630GMT) on Monday, compared to 5.7650 at last week's close.
The euro/Turkish lira exchange rate rose to 6.3960, versus 6.3850, and one British pound traded for 7.6320 Turkish liras, while it was 7.5800 at the previous close.
One barrel of Brent crude oil sold for around $64.28 as of 10 a.m. local time (0700GMT) on Monday.
