Turkey's benchmark stock index rose 0.67%, or 694.31 points, to start the last trading day of the week at 104,474.89 points.
On Thursday's close, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index dropped 1% to stand at 103,780.58 points with a daily trading volume of 10 billion Turkish liras (some $1.75 billion).
The U.S. dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate rose to 5.7620 as of 9.30 a.m. local time (0630GMT) on Friday, compared to 5.7540 at Thursday's close.
The euro/Turkish lira exchange rate was also up at 6.3520, versus 6.3350, and one British pound traded for 7.4380 Turkish liras, while it was 7.4040 at the previous close.
One barrel of Brent crude oil sold for around $62.40 as of 10 a.m. local time (0700GMT) on Friday.
