Turkey's benchmark stock index rose by 0.21%, or 206.88 points, to start Tuesday at 97,530.88 points.
On Monday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index dropped 1.1% to close the day at 97,324.00 points with a daily trading volume of 5.5 billion Turkish liras ($941 million).
The U.S. dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate rose to 5.8460 as of 9.30 a.m. local time (0630GMT) on Tuesday, compared to 5.8260 at Monday's close.
The euro/Turkish lira exchange rate also fell to 6.5230, versus 6.5070, and one British pound traded for 7.6030 Turkish liras, while it was 7.5940 at the previous close.
One barrel of Brent crude oil was sold for around $58.83 as of 10 a.m. local time (0700GMT) on Tuesday.
