Turkey's benchmark stock index rose by 0.06%, or 58.71 points, to start Tuesday at 100,146.50 points.
On Monday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index surged by 1.65% to close the day at 100,087.79 points with a daily trading volume of 3.6 billion Turkish liras ($629 million).
The U.S. dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate rose to 5.7230 as of 9.30 a.m. local time (0630GMT) on Tuesday, compared to 5.7010 at Monday's close.
The euro/Turkish lira exchange rate also increased to 6.3790, versus 6.3590, and one British pound traded for 7.3900 Turkish liras, while it was 7.3760 at the previous close.
One barrel of Brent crude oil was sold for around $62.30 as of 10 a.m. local time (0700GMT) on Tuesday.
