Two blasts, including a suicide bombing, have hit a crowded market in the center of Iraqi capital Baghdad.
At least 25 people were killed and up to 40 were wounded, according to the police sources.
Police said the blasts went off near car spare parts shops in Sinak during the morning rush.
One of them was triggered by a suicide bomber, the other was a planted explosive, an Interior Ministry official told Reuters.
Baghdad witnesses suicide bombings, many of which Daesh claims responsibility.
In November, a suicide bomber detonated himself in the south of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad. The attack targeting a petrol station was conducted with an explosive-laden truck and killed over 80 people.
Previously in July, in an attack claimed by Daesh, which also hit the al-Farida area in central Baghdad, 250 people lost their lives and hundreds of others were wounded.
July's suicide bombing was the most recent of many attacks committed by Daesh terrorists targeting Shiite regions of the capital; as Daesh often conducts attacks there.
