A Turkish humanitarian aid agency on Friday distributed 20 wheelchairs to handicapped people in northwestern Idlib province of Syria.
"Syrians, who are victims of war, are trying to hold on to life despite the ongoing internal turmoil in their country," Selim Tosun, Humanitarian Relief Foundation’s (IHH) media advisor in Syria, told Anadolu Agency.
"As IHH, we are trying to support them with these aids," he added.
Syria has been locked in a vicious civil war since early 2011 when the Assad regime cracked down on pro-democracy protests with unexpected ferocity.
