Over a thousand Turkish soldiers backing twice as many FSA soldiers are to deal Daesh terrorists a death blow with intense attacks to rid the Syrian city of terrorists in ongoing Euphrates Shield operation
Turkey to deal Daesh a death blow Syria's al-Bab city, as another Turkish brigade from Kayseri province is to be sent to the al-Bab district of Syria after a Kayseri brigade played a vital role in al-Bab's Akil Mountain, which was controlled by the Daesh terrorists organization during the Euphrates Shield operation.
Along with Turkish soldiers, around 1400 Free Syrian Army (FSA) fighters arrived in al-Bab from Aleppo, while being cautious not to fall into a Daesh terrorist trap on the way.
The number of the additional FSA fighters is expected to reach 2000 with the arrivals which are up in the air, while the number of Turkish soldiers exceeded a thousand in al-Bab.
Also, 10 storm howitzers are proceeding to al-Bab, while Turkish military are sending vehicles, tanks and tank recovery vehicles to the Kilis and Gaziantep province of Turkey to put vehicles on stand-by for Euphrates Shield operation being conducted in al-Bab.
On Sunday, more than a dozen of Daesh terrorists were neutralized and 134 targets destroyed in Syria's Al-Bab, according to the Turkish military.
On the same day, as many as 32 civilians were killed and many others were wounded, after Daesh terrorists launched an attack in al-Bab to prevent people from fleeing, the Turkish military said in a statement on Monday.
Iran, Assad have a hand in arms transfers to Daesh
Both Turkish soldiers and FSA fighters are very cautious about any possible Daesh attack, as the terrorists were discovered to be placing dozens of explosive-laden vehicles in their way; 10 of which have been destroyed by Turkish Armed Forces in two days.
The largest weapons of the Daesh terrorists are the missiles and rockets that the terrorist organization brought to al-Bab from Kifor after usurping a 30-square-kilometer-square strategic area by seizing control of the area close to Humus-Kifor. The new seizure paved the way to advance nearly 400 kilometers.
It was also discovered that the weapons that Daesh received under the surveillance of the militants supported by Iran and Bashar al-Assad regime martyred the Turkish soldiers in al-Bab last week.
Euphrates Shield operation began on August 24
The Euphrates Shield operation was launched between the Turkish Armed Forces and the Free Syrian Army, with the aim to sweep Daesh from Syria, and has been running for 123 days.
The operation has neutralized more than 1,000 terrorists since its launch on August 24.
Also, a 2,000-square-kilometer area has been cleared from terrorists so far.
Since the beginning of the operation more than 2,208 improvised explosive devices and 42 mines were destroyed.
