Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım spoke with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on Thursday about bilateral trade.
Yıldırım and Medvedev signed a decree allowing agricultural exports from Turkey to Russia.
Medvedev said a resolution allowing the export of some agricultural products from Turkey to Russia was signed. Other items on the agenda were trade, transport, agriculture and transportation as well as customs, energy and visas.
The Turkish and Russian prime ministers confirmed their resolve to move bilateral relations forward with confident steps in preparation for the Turkey-Russia High Level Cooperation Council's meeting on Friday, which President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his Russian President Vladimir Putin will attend.
Bilateral relations between Ankara and Moscow have recently focused on trade and tourism. The two leaders expressed that were pleased to see ties between the two countries improving.
