After a rash of attacks were conducted by forces of the Assad regime over the last 72 hours against opposition-controlled districts of Aleppo, the death toll has reached to 106, while 190 others were wounded.
Necip Ensari, one of the civil defense officers in Aleppo, said that regime forces frequently organize attacks in eastern Aleppo, where opposition forces retain their control, with cluster, vacuum and barrel bombs.
The civil defense officer Ensari added:
''Fighter jets belonging to the regime attacked Mesekin, Hanano and Ard al Hamra districts with barrel bombs, which contain chlorine war gas. As a result, tens of civilians were exposed to the gas which had diffused in the area.''
In the war of Aleppo, around 300,000 civilians have been under the regime forces' siege since September 4.
