The U.S.-backed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) terrorist organization is preparing to organize an attack on Idlib where the Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) are conducting an operation. The PKK, who took control of Raqqa with the region being handed over from Daesh terrorists in Syria, now aims to capture Idlib after being defeated in Kirkuk, Sinjar and Makhmur in Iraq. The PKK-affiliated Democratic Union Party (PYD) terrorist organization’s so-called Afrin commander Ahmed Sultan said they would dispatch all terrorists to Afrin for Idlib following their so-called “victory” in Raqqa.
Yeni Şafak sources revealed details of the orders in the message sent to terrorists as an “internal bulletin.”
PKK's so-called commander Ahmed Sultan, stating that they established an operation room for the purpose of an attack on the Turkish army, claims that they have allies to support them in this objective than the PKK terrorists. He said that they will be backed by the Assad regime as well as the U.S. and that they have coconspirators who infiltrated the Free Syrian Army (FSA), who will allegedly leave the FSA and join the PKK if the Turkish military launches an operation in Afrin.
The Afrin key figure Ahmed Sultan also reveals in the message that they are preparing to establish the last of the front military assemblies in Idlib, which they previously declared before the murders and occupations they committed in Tel Abyad, Ayn al-Arab, Manbij, al-Hasakah, Raqqa and so forth. According to information in the report sent, the PKK will give prominence to the provocation of civilians in the Idlib attack. They will try to implant the theory that Turkey is an “invader” in Idlib with provocations backed by the Assad-affiliated intelligence service Mukhabarat and cause them to revolt against Turkey. It also noted that it allows terrorists to commit murders and prepare videos and images that will falsely present Turkish troops as guilty for the said crimes.
PKK terrorists speeded the deployment to Afrin through Manbij after Daesh handed Raqqa over. While some “executive” PKK terrorists quickly left Afrin some time ago, the district is now the primary objective of “ordinary” terrorists. The convoys carrying groups advancing toward Afrin travel mostly at night. The vehicles generally carry heavy weapons supplied by the U.S. Some part of the PKK terrorists from the Sinjar-Makhmur region besides Raqqa were sent to Afrin, using the Aleppo-Sheikh Maqsood line through al-Hasakah.
According to reports, the PKK terrorists will attempt an attack along the border corridor of Deir Ballut, Qala'at Samaan and Jandairis in the south of Afrin. They will simultaneously target the TAF and FSA positions in Manbij and Tell Rifaat. Security forces who are aware of this dirty plan have reportedly taken the necessary measures in the region.
The PKK is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the European Union and the United States. The PKK has been conducting armed violence in the southeastern part of Turkey since 1984. More than 40,000 people, mostly civilians, have been killed in the three-decade long conflict.
