The U.S. military withdrawing from Syria has sent a chilling wave of fear in the ranks Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), which is a front for PKK/YPG terrorists.

President Donald Trump's withdrawal of all U.S. troops would leave Syrians stuck between "the claws of hostile parties" fighting for territory in the seven-year-old war, terrorists said in a statement.

“The U.S. withdrawal will cause a military and political vacuum in the region,” the statement continued, claiming that it would lead to the revival of Daesh.

Trump on Wednesday said that the U.S.-led coalition has succeeded in defeating the Daesh terrorist group, suggesting that a withdrawal of U.S. troops was imminent.

"We have defeated ISIS in Syria, my only reason for being there during the Trump Presidency," he said on Twitter.

Trump later announced that all of the U.S.'s roughly 2,000 troops in northeastern Syria would be leaving.

However, Daesh is not what the terror group fears, but it is Turkey.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Monday said he told U.S. President Donald Trump that if Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) terrorists are not withdrawn from the east of the Euphrates that Turkey would “remove them.”

He said the army has completed preparations for the planned operation, adding that Turkey will do "what is necessary" regarding terror corridors east of the Euphrates River.

A possible mission east of the Euphrates, which Turkey’s leadership has been suggesting for months, would follow two successful cross-border Turkish operations into Syria since 2016 – Operation Euphrates Shield and Operation Olive Branch – both meant to eradicate the presence of YPG/PKK and Daesh terrorists near Turkey’s borders.

The PKK is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the European Union and the United States. The YPG is its Syrian extension.
