Over 1800 PKK/PYD, Daesh terrorists killed in Syria: Turkish military

Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) has stated that 1536 Daesh and 306 Kurdistan Workers' Party/ Democratic Union Party (PKK/PYD) terrorists had been killed since the beginning of the Euphrates Shield operation that was initiated to sweep the terrorist elements in northern Syria with the support of Turkish military to Free Syrian Army (FSA) fighters.

The Euphrates Shield operation was initiated in August 24 and has been continuing for 137 days.

A 2,000-square-kilometer area has been cleared from terrorists so far.

Since the beginning of the operation, more than 2,000 improvised explosive devices and dozens of mines have been destroyed.
