2 districts in Marib Governorate targeted, Houthi media reports
The Houthi group reported US forces conducted 15 airstrikes Monday that targeted the Raghwan and Medghal districts in Yemen's central Marib Governorate, according to the Al-Masirah TV channel.
The Houthi-run channel provided no details on casualties or damage.
The US has not commented.
Marib, a key oil-producing province, remains geographically split between Houthi control and areas held by Yemen's recognized government.
The US strikes have killed at least 123 civilians since March 15, and injured 247, mostly children and women, based on Houthi data monitored by Anadolu. The casualties exclude losses for the group's fighters.
US President Donald Trump said last month that he ordered “decisive and powerful military action” against the Houthis and later threatened to “completely annihilate them.”
The Houthis have targeted ships in the Red and Arabian seas, the Bab al-Mandab Strait and the Gulf of Aden since November 2023 in solidarity with Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, where Israel has killed more than 50,900 victims in a brutal onslaught.
The group halted attacks when a ceasefire in Gaza was declared in January between Israel and the Palestinian resistance group, Hamas, but resumed the assaults after Israel renewed airstrikes on the enclave last month after breaking a ceasefire that was signed in January.
