The streets of Chad’s capital N'Djamena have been adorned with Turkish and Chadian national flags before Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s official visit to the city on Tuesday.
Security measures have been strengthened in the city due to Erdoğan’s upcoming visit.
Meanwhile, representatives from the Turkish non-governmental organizations in Chad, and around 200 Turkish-origin Chadians, whose origins date back to the Ottoman Empire, are waiting to welcome President Erdoğan, under the leadership of the Turkish Maarif Foundation (TMV).
Chadians consider Erdoğan as the leader of the Muslim world due to his support to the oppressed and Muslims.
