Thirty five martyred, over 700 demonstrators injured as Israeli forces use disproportionate force

GAZA (AA) - Another Palestinian was martyred on Friday raising the death toll to 35, during mass demonstrations against the decades-long Israeli occupation in Gaza Strip, an official said.
Ashraf al-Qidra, the spokesman of Palestinian Health Ministry, confirmed Islam Hazarallah, 28, was martyred during an attack by Israeli forces.
So far, 701 people have been injured during the demonstrations at the Gaza border as Israeli forces use teargas and fire live bullets.
The rallies are part of a six-week demonstration that will culminate on May 15. That day will mark the 70th anniversary of Israel's establishment -- an event Palestinians refer to as the "Nakba" or "Catastrophe".
Demonstrators demand that Palestinian refugees be granted the "right of return" to their towns and villages in historical Palestine from which they were driven in 1948 to make way for the new state of Israel.
