A ceasefire has been brokered with Turkey's pressure, after weeks of massacres in East Aleppo and accordingly clashes stopped last evening.
Civilians and dissidents living in the opposition enclave are being transferred to Idlib, with monitoring from the UN and Turkey, according to the truce.
Scores of busses were dispatched to drive civilians from Aleppo. Among them, first, wounded people will be evacuated, then other civilians from the besieged sector of the city.
Although around 60,000 civilians are expected to be taken to Idlib, the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) of Turkey is preparing to host 80,000 civilians in Idlib.
Meanwhile, 11 Turkish NGOs, led by IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation began sending humanitarian aid materials to the place where the civilians are being taken.
Roughly 65 kilometers lie between the besieged Aleppo and the city of Idlib, according to the Google map data. Idlib's distance from Turkey is around 40 kms.
