Sixty-nine Daesh terrorists have been killed in northern Syria as part of Operation Euphrates Shield, the Turkish military says
As many as 69 Daesh terrorists were killed in the last 24 hours in Syria as part of Operation Euphrates Shield, which was launched in late August 2016 to sweep the terrorist elements from northern Syria, the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) said.
The TSK also said that 292 terrorist targets, including a tank and two cannons, were destroyed in the operation.
Operation Euphrates Shield was launched by the TSK to support the Free Syrian Army (FSA) in the aim to sweep Daesh from Syria. The operation has been continuing for 138 days amid high security measures to prevent civilians casualties.
