A 6.3 magnitude earthquake struck offshore of the Philippines on Tuesday with no immediate reports of damage, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
With a depth of 10 kilometers (6.2 miles), the epicenter of the earthquake was initially determined to be at 7.97 degrees north latitude and 129.83 degrees east longitude.
China's Xinhua News Agency cited the earthquake's magnitude as 6.5.
There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
