As many as 21 Daesh terrorists were neutralized in the recent wave of strikes against Daesh in Syria as part of Operation Euphrates Shield, which was launched in late August 2016 to sweep terrorist elements from northern Syria, the Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) said in a statement.
According to the statement, 13 Daesh terrorists were killed and eight captured while 321 Daesh targets were hit from land and air.
Fifty-nine buildings, four headquarters and two control points were destroyed in the shelling.
The TAF launched Operation Euphrates Shield on Aug. 24, 2016, to support the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and has continued for 167 days.
At least 3,704 improvised explosive devices and 57 mines have been destroyed since the beginning of the operation.
