The Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) dispatched general purpose helicopters, including CH-47 Chinook type helicopters, also known as 'flying castles', to the quake regions where weather conditions are suitable to contribute to the transportation of personnel and aid materials after a 7.4 magnitude earthquake hit Türkiye’s southern provinces.
