The General Assembly of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation (ISSF) will hold an unscheduled meeting in Saudi Arabia's Jeddah on Monday in order to nominate a successor to Turki Al-Sheikh as chairman, who will serve for the period between 2019 and 2021.
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary General Yousef AlOThaimeen will also attend the meeting.
The ISSF board is set to discuss the fifth version of the Islamic Solidarity Games in 2021 and review the administrative, technical and financial reports of the General Secretary of the Federation.
In addition, two board meetings will be organized by the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation.
Former chairman Al-Sheikh resigned from his post at the end of 2018.
