The undefeated Turkish football club Besiktas secured three points away from home to head the Spor Toto Super League
Besiktas rose to the top of the Turkish football league Sunday after defeating Balikesirspor 1-0 away from home.
The Black Eagles secured three points when Mustafa Pektemek found the net in 57th minute, giving the undefeated Istanbul side 11 points from five matches.
Rivals Galatasaray defeated SAI Kayseri Erciyesspor 2-1 Saturday with goals from Burak Yilmaz and Wesley Sneijder for Galatasaray and a conciliation goal from Caner Osmanpasa in the 81st minute.
Fenerbahce beat Torku Konyaspor 2-1 in Istanbul thanks to Pierre Webo and Moussa Sow. Konyaspor's goal came from a Dimitar Rangelov penalty. Fenerbahce's Bekir Irtegun was red-carded at the end of the first half.
