The Hırka-i Şerif or Holy Cloak, named so because it was worn by Prophet Muhammad.
The cloak of Prophet Muhammed, peace and blessings be upon him, was put on display in Istanbul on the first Friday of Ramadan. During the opening ceremony, prayers were recited. Among the relics was also a strand of the Prophet's beard and hat. The items will be on display throughout the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.
