Twitter bans access to the feed of internet phenomenon, Fuat Avni
The popular microblogging site, Twitter, has banned access to the feed of internet phenomenon, Fuat Avni, who shared provocative messages in the aftermath of the December 17 raid, which targetted allies of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Internet users in Turkey were faced with a warning, saying access to the account has been blocked when they want to enter Fuat Avni's account.
Turkey''s national intelligence agency, or MIT, appealed to the prosecutor against journalist Emre Uslu, the Gulen-linked pundit, after finding out he actually has written under the nick name of Avni Uslu.
The prosecutor''s office issued an arrest warrant against Uslu, a columnist for Daily Taraf.
However, he fled to the Belgian capital of Brussels for fear of being arrested after December 17. If he returns to Turkey, he will testify to the police.
