The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), Turkey’s state aid agency, delivered aid to 1,100 Palestinian families who were left destitute and desperate after the horrifying attacks by occupying Israeli forces.

With the collaboration of the Palestinian Ministry of Social Development in Gaza, TIKA has distributed a great deal of aid, including 500 food boxes, 500 pillows, 500 mattresses, 300 bags of kitchen utensils, 300 propane tanks and 300 cookers to the oppressed families.

‘’We are grateful to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the representative of Muslim nations, and Turkish citizens for their support to the Palestinian people,’’ said Hammad Abu Shabab (70), whose home was destroyed during an Israeli attack and now has to live with his family in a container.

‘’I don’t have money even to cover my family’s basic needs. My children still haven't had breakfast. We are trying to survive under terrible economic conditions in Gaza. We are really very grateful to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Turks for their help,” Muhammed es-Sirfi, another Palestinian victim said.

Earlier in November, the Israeli rights group, B'Tselem, said that in the period between 2006 and Oct. 31 this year, Israel demolished at least 1,489 Palestinian residential units in the West Bank, not including East Jerusalem, causing 6,508 people -- including at least 3,264 minors -- homeless.
