Closed-door meeting held at Presidential Complex, say diplomatic sources
The Turkish president received top officials from Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan in the capital Ankara, diplomatic sources said on Wednesday.
At the Presidential Complex, Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov, and Digital Development and Transport Minister Rashad Nabiyev.
Uzbekistan sent its Foreign Minister Bahtiyar Saidov, Investment, Industry and Trade Minister Laziz Kudratov, and Transport Minister Ilham Mahkamov.
Also present at the gathering were Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Trade Minister Omer Bolat, Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloglu, and presidential advisor Akif Cagatay Kilic.
No further details were as yet disclosed about the closed-door meeting.
