
Leaders to discuss Türkiye-EU ties, Ukraine, and transatlantic relations in meeting in Turkish capital
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday formally welcomed Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk at the presidential complex in Ankara ahead of high-level discussions on bilateral and global issues.
Senior Turkish officials, including Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek, and presidential advisor Akif Cagatay Kilic, attended the welcoming ceremony.
The leaders are expected to focus on strengthening Türkiye-Poland relations, Türkiye-EU ties during Poland's presidency of the EU Council, and regional issues such as the war in Ukraine and transatlantic security.
Following their meeting, Erdogan and Tusk will hold a joint news conference.
