Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Senegalese counterpart Bassirou Diomaye Faye on Saturday discussed bilateral relations between their countries in a phone call, Türkiye's Communications Directorate said.
"President Erdogan said that efforts are ongoing to improve relations between the two countries in many areas," a directorate statement said.
The Turkish president also expressed his belief that cooperation between the two nations will be advanced through steps to be taken in the coming period.
He also extended Eid greetings to Faye.
