Turkish police seized Bronze Age sculptures, coins and precious stones in an operation in eastern Turkey on Thursday.
Police sources said they seized six sculptures, 27 coins, 19 precious stones, two rings and six jewels in Erzurum province.
Also, a suspect, identified by the initials C.C., was held at the bus terminal of the province.
The artifacts, believed to belong to the ancient Hittites era, were handed to the museum directorate in Erzurum.
