Turkish Minister of Industry and Technology Visits Kademe Factory in Konya

Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır recently visited Konya to participate in the 50th-anniversary celebrations of the Konya Chamber of Industry. During his visit, he toured the facilities of Kademe A.Ş., Türkiye's leading manufacturer of road sweeping vehicles. Minister Kacır was accompanied by prominent figures, including Albayrak Group Chairman Ahmet Albayrak, Board Member Muzaffer Albayrak, Kademe A.Ş. General Manager Kenan Çelik, and other company executives.

At the factory, Minister Kacır examined Kademe A.Ş.'s locally produced road sweeping vehicles, which boast over 90% domestic production. Praising the company’s achievements, he stated, "Kademe A.Ş.’s development of road sweeping vehicles with over 90% domestic production is a great source of pride for our country. The use of these high-tech, environmentally friendly vehicles in urban sanitation reflects the progress of our national production vision. Kademe, by providing local and national solutions in urban and environmental technologies, strengthens Türkiye’s capabilities."

Kademe A.Ş. General Manager Kenan Çelik expressed his satisfaction with the minister’s visit and emphasized the company’s commitment to domestic production and environmental goals. He also noted that Kademe aligns closely with Türkiye’s National Technology Initiative: "Under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the National Technology Initiative extends to urban planning, where Kademe plays a leading role. By reducing foreign dependency and boosting Türkiye's global presence in environmental technologies, Kademe exemplifies our industrial ambitions."

During the visit, Minister Kacır interacted with factory employees, thanking them for their contributions to Türkiye’s technological advancement. His tour highlighted the vital role companies like Kademe play in driving innovation, sustainability, and locally driven growth.
