Twenty-one terrorist targets are hit as Turkey carries out 108 strikes near Jarabulus in the last 24 hours, according to Turkish military
The Turkish armed forces have carried out 108 artillery strikes around the northern Syrian town of Jarabulus on Monday, hitting 21 targets, Turkey's military said on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the airstrike, conducted by the coalition planes, destroyed two Daesh targets.
The Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) and air forces of the U.S.-led anti-Daesh coalition initiated the operation named "Euphrates Shield" against the terror group on Wednesday.
The operation is on its sixth day, as more villages are being liberated from both the Daesh and the PKK/PYD terrorists.
The PKK is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU. Turkey also considers the (PKK)-affiliated People's Protection Units (YPG) as a terrorist group.
