The Azerbaijani and Turkish Air Forces have performed a joint breathtaking airshow ahead of the grand opening ceremony of an aerospace and technology festival in Istanbul on Monday.
Azerbaijani and Turkish military aircraft displayed their stellar performance flying over the Bosphorus Strait in Turkey's metropolitan city of Istanbul within the scope of the TEKNOFEST Aerospace and Technology Festival.
Dozens of residents took out their phones to catch a glimpse of the stunning aerobatic maneuvers of Azerbaijan's MiG-29 multipurpose fighter jets and Turkish Air Force's world-renowned demonstration team SoloTürk F-16 and F-4E 2020 Terminator aircraft.
Teknofest, organized by the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation) and Turkey's Industry and Technology Ministry, is held in various Turkish cities in even years and in the metropolis of Istanbul in odd years.
The six-day event, which will kick off on Sept. 21, will feature technology competitions in dozens of different categories such as smart transportation, helicopter design, biotechnology, robotics, flying cars, rockets, and unmanned underwater systems.
