Turkey’s first national armored vehicle goes on display at global defense expo

Turkey’s domestically-produced and independently manufactured armored vehicle Pusat will be on display at the country’s booth at the 15th International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF).

An upgraded version of the armored vehicle will join the line-up of other locally-produced defense equipments at the Turkish booth at IDEF ’19.

Pusat is a light tactical and four-wheeled armored vehicle used in anti-terror operations and can be fitted with different weapons systems.

Developed by Tümosan, Pusat is especially effective during search and rescue operations in narrow streets and ruined areas.

Founded in 1975, Tümosan, an Albayrak Holding company, is a diesel engine and tractor manufacturer. It produces 75,000 diesel engines annually.
