Turkey has allocated 52 billion Turkish liras ($8.6 billion) for investments from the central government's 2020 budget.
Transportation and communication investments get the largest share, with 15.4 billion Turkish liras ($2.54 billion) this year, according to data compiled by Anadolu Agency.
The country earmarked more than 10.9 billion Turkish liras ($1.8 billion) for investments in education and nearly 6 billion liras ($990 million) for healthcare.
In December 2019, Turkey's parliament approved budget expenses for the 2020 fiscal year of 1.095 trillion Turkish liras ($180.5 billion).
