Foreign Affairs Ministry condoles with 'friendly Brazilian people and government' over the incident that left dozens dead
Turkey has expressed its condolences to the Brazilian government and the victims of Tuesday's plane crash that left dozens of people dead, including members of a football club.
In a statement released on its official website Wednesday, the Foreign Affairs Ministry said: "We would like to express our condolences to the families and friends of those who lost their lives, especially to the friendly Brazilian people and the government."
The plane carrying at least 81 passengers crashed near Medellin in Colombia while en route from Santa Cruz city in Bolivia on Tuesday. At least six people had survived the crash; however, one of them later succumbed to his wounds.
