Hamas military wing says its fighters hit 'Zionist force stationed in a residential building with an anti-personnel missile, resulting in deaths and injuries among the soldiers in the north of Gaza City'
Hamas' military wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, reported on Tuesday evening that its fighters killed and injured many Israeli soldiers in an attack on a residential building housing a military unit in the northwest of Gaza City.
In a statement, Al-Qassam Brigades said its fighters struck the “Zionist force stationed in a residential building with an anti-personnel missile, resulting in deaths and injuries among the soldiers in the north of Gaza City.”
As of yet, the Israel army has not commented on Al-Qassam's statement.
This marks the eighth operation announced by the group on Tuesday, with most of the actions concentrated in northern Gaza, a region experiencing intense genocide and ethnic cleansing since Oct, 5.
Armed confrontations between Palestinian factions and Israeli forces continue along multiple fronts, particularly in the northern areas of Gaza.
Israel has continued a devastating offensive on Gaza since an attack by the Palestinian resistance group, Hamas, in October 2023, despite a UN Security Council resolution demanding an immediate cease-fire.
Nearly 43,700 people have since been killed in Gaza, mostly women and children, and over 103,000 others injured, according to Palestinian health authorities.
