At least 18 PKK/KCK/YPG/PYD suspects were arrested in the Turkish cities of Ankara and Bursa, security sources said Wednesday.
The arrests came after prosecutors issued warrants for 26 suspects.
Two of the wanted suspects include former members of the parliament, said the source, who asked not to be named due to restrictions on speaking to the media.
Among those arrested, seven suspects were carrying out terrorist propaganda on social media websites, the source added.
In its more than 30-year terror campaign against Turkey, the PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S., and the EU -- has been responsible for the deaths of some 40,000 people, including women, children and infants. The YPG is its Syrian offshoot.
