Event this week aims to highlight importance of family from different disciplinary perspectives
The 3rd International Family Symposium, organized in cooperation between the Turkish Family and Social Services Ministry and the Istanbul Family Foundation, will be held on May 30–31 on Democracy and Freedom Island, in the Sea of Marmara.
With Anadolu as its global communication partner, the symposium will host domestic and international academics, experts, and policymakers.
Under the theme “Being a Family in the 21st Century,” the event will explore multidisciplinary approaches centered on the concept of the family.
The symposium will present scientific and practical recommendations on protecting, strengthening, and passing on the family structure to future generations.
Additionally, the event aims to highlight the importance of the family institution from different disciplinary perspectives and to shed light on its challenges and expectations through contributions from experts and scholars from both Türkiye and around the world.
