Turkey's Yıldırım recalls his promise that Turkey will be cleared of terrorists in his speech in Doğubeyazıt town where a PKK attack martyred eight security forces
Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım has said that the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) terrorists will be swept from the country, adding that no terrorist group is able to obstruct the solidarity and brotherhood in Turkey
Yıldırım's remarks came during his visit to Doğubeyazıt town in the eastern Turkish province of Ağrı, aiming at paying visits to the families of the martyred village guards.
"This vile terrorist group is killing Kurdish people in the name of the Kurdish people's advocacy. Is this the way how they protect the rights of these people? We are aware of this global game," the PM said.
The PM also recalled his promise to clear Turkey from the PKK terrorists.
"The masters of these bloody groups should be aware of the fact that these groups will never ever win a victory against Turkey," he added.
Yıldırım's visit came after a bloody attack that left seven village guards and one specialist sergeant martyred on Thursday in a PKK attack in Doğubeyazıt.
Previously in Erzurum province, he said there will be no stepping back in the fight against the terrorist PKK group by saying, "There is not even the slightest step back, [or] lethargy. Our citizens will come and go freely in every inch of soil of this country."
The PKK is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and EU and resumed its 30-year armed campaign against the Turkish state in July 2015.
Since then, PKK terrorist attacks martyred more than 600 security personnel and also claimed the lives of many civilians, including women and children, while more than 7,000 PKK terrorists were killed in army operations.
