Religious mountain goat causes turmoil in mosque in eastern Turkey

A mountain goat tottering through an open garden gate in southeastern Turkey’s province of Adıyaman broke into a mosque and caused great turmoil.

The goat, which had now presumably found his faith, managed to evade worshippers and escaped to the second floor of the mosque, however he was eventually caught by security guards and villagers after strenuous efforts.

Before they removed the rogue goat from the premises and released it into the forest, villagers didn’t forget to take a souvenir photo with their new grass-eating friend.
