A car bomb attack by Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) terrorists hit a police station in the southeastern Turkish province of Mardin on Wednesday, one day after 11 people were killed in a terrorist attack in Istanbul.
The attack hit the police station in the town of Midyat, north of the Syrian border. According to reports, two police officers and two civilian were killed while at least 30 people were also wounded in the attack.
After the attack, clashes broke out between police officers and PKK terrorists.
The injured people have been taken to nearby hospitals.
Meanwhile many buildings heavily damaged by the explosion.
No one has claimed responsibility for Tuesday's terrorist attack, which was the fourth on Istanbul this year, but PKK terrorists regularly stage car bomb attacks on police and security forces.
