Twenty undocumented migrants were held by gendarmes in northwestern Turkey near the Greek border on Monday, said security sources.
Gendarmes stopped a truck near a village in Kesan in the Edirne province on a tip off, said the sources, who asked not to be named due to restrictions on speaking to the media.
The 20 migrants found in the truck were from Pakistan.
The truck driver was remanded in custody on suspicion of human smuggling, and the migrants were sent to the Edirne Immigration Authority.
