A police operation against the Daesh terrorist group in in southeastern province of Gaziantep in Turkey revealed a large number of the terrorists' attack plans.
The documents found by the Turkish police in examining a computer belonging to a so-called 'Daesh official' showed that Daesh was planning 25 attacks in 18 provinces of Turkey.
The information on the planned attacks was found in the computer of Yunus Durmaz, a provincial leader of the Daesh terrorist group, according to the Turkish daily Habertürk newspaper.
The operation against Daesh has also revealed that the terrorist group had been reconnoitering on Alevi, Kurdish and Turkmen villages to organize attacks.
Daesh militants were also planning attacks targeting the hydroelectric power plant projects in Turkey, particularly those in the eastern and southeastern regions, according to police sources.
Also a note found on a Daesh terrorist's computer, showed the terrorist's demand of a 'salary increase' from 5,000 dollars to 20,000, from Daesh headquarters in Syria's Raqqa.
Four Daesh members allegedly connected to the Ankara attack were arrested, while Daesh provincial leader Durmaz managed to escape.
Turkey, which has become a target of the terrorist group due to its opposition to terrorism, has witnessed several terror attacks, including the deadliest in modern Turkish history.
In July 2015, at least 32 people were killed in an explosion in the border city of Suruç, in Şanlıurfa province, when a suicide bomb targeted a group of youths during a rally.
Months after the Suruç attack, Turkey's capital city, Ankara, was rocked by two simultaneous suicide attacks.
The Ankara attack was the deadliest in the history of the Turkish Republic, as 102 people were killed in the incident. Two suicide bombers detonated themselves at a rally near the capital's main train station.
More recently on January 12, ten people were killed and 15 wounded in a suicide bomb attack at Istanbul's Sultanahmet Square.
It was discovered that the suicide bomber was a member of Daesh terrorist group.
