31 detained in FETÖ operation in 16 provinces

As many as 31 people were detained in the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) in an operation that was conducted by the police in 16 Turkish provinces.

Also, arrest warrants were issued for 137 people in total in the Ankara-based operation.

The detained included a number of people working for 11 schools linked with the FETÖ terrorist organization.

On July 15, as many as 241 people, including members of the security forces and civilians, were martyred in Istanbul and Ankara and nearly 2,000 others were wounded, as they protested against the coup bid.
