Muslim American singer and songwriter Della Miles, who worked as a vocalist with several global pop stars, including Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston, expressed her support for “Turkey's National Solidarity Campaign” amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Miles made a donation and shared the campaign poster on her social media accounts, calling on citizens to contribute to the cause: “Let’s support the ‘We are self-sufficient, Turkey!’ campaign together.”

“I'm currently out of Turkey, but my heart is with you. You loved me and accepted me as your own citizen. This is nothing compared to your beautiful heart, but I wanted to contribute. ‘We are self-sufficient, Turkey!’ I love you. I want everyone to more or less contribute to this campaign,” she added.

The campaign announced by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan that was launched to aid fight against COVID-19 has garnered the support of many Turkish artists, singers, businessmen and even politicians.

It will provide additional support to people with low-income who suffer economic problems due to the measures taken against the spread of the disease.
